IN MEMORY:
Founder - Hoyt W. Doyel: May, 1948 - August, 2001
Hoyt was the founder
of ECI. He started ECI in 1991 after over 20
compensation specific years in nationwide consulting firms and
other organizations. Hoyt wanted to provide service to
clients of all sizes and types in a manner that was responsive
to client needs. Hoyt felt in order to do that he needed
to start his own firm, which he did. Under his
direction, ECI grew from a one person shop to the largest
independent compensation consulting organization in the Rocky
Mountain region with eight employees. Due to health
reasons, Hoyt sold ECI to Terry Isselhardt in January
2001. Hoyt passed away August 2001 and we want to honor
his memory by keeping his name associated with ECI. He
will be missed.
